Sake is quickly becoming one of America’s favorite beverages, and its popularity continues to climb with each passing year. The flavors and styles of sake are as varied and complex as wine, if not more so. If your only experience with it includes piping hot shot glasses or “bombs,” you are in for a treat.
Will will guide you through a flight of amazing craft sakes as you explore this ancient, rice-based beverage and the compelling stories that come with it. We’ll cover a wide range of topics and get a little tipsy on the way. There’s no final exam!
As an added bonus, we will pair these sakes with some familiar foods, like charcuterie, cheese and pizza, so you can recreate your experience with friends at home.
