Ronco del Gnemiz Ronco del Gnemiz was established in the 1960s by the Palazzolo family and is situated on the top of Friuli’s famed Rosazzo hill. Clay and limestone-rich soils allow fruit to optimally ripen, while Adriatic breezes and mountain influence from the Alps keeps acidity high. This varietal Chardonnay is vinified in barrique and cement, leading to a soft and supple wine noted with flavors of green apple, stone fruit, and wet rocks. Delicious!
