Vajra's 'Albe' Barolo is everything we're looking for in a good bottle of Barolo: aromatic, structured, and insanely ageworthy. Fruit for this cuvée comes from three separate vineyard sites and is extensively aged in Slavonian casks. Ruby hued in the glass, the wine shows flavors of tart red fruit, pine, wet earth, rose petals, and baking spice. We recommend laying down and revisiting in another five years.
