Fruit for this single-vineyard red comes from 80-year-old vines rooted in red clay and chalk soils just next to the 1er cru of Clos Rousseau (Santenay). The wine is aromatic, silky, and marked by flavors of red currants, wet earth, and spice. (15% whole clusters were used.) Drink now or lay down.
