Domaine Chapel
As if we couldn’t sing the Lapierre praises enough, we also *somewhat* have them to thank for the amazing venture that is Domaine Chapel. The estate was founded just a few years back by David Chapel and Michele Smith-Chapel, who met while David was working chez Lapierre back in 2013. David followed Michele, a wine director based in Brooklyn, back to New York, though the two ultimately traded the hustle and bustle of the city to relocate to the quaint countryside of Régnié. Not only are their wines insanely easy to drink, but their purity and precision are reminiscent of some of the region’s most renowned producers… we wonder why...
