This Morgon comes from a single .7ha plot of 50+ year-old vines, located in an area called ‘Bas Douby.’ Granitic soils with high iron and magnanese content lend themselves to the cuvée name. Semi-carbonic fermentation with no pumpover; seven months’ aging in a blend of 40% 225L neutral barrels and 60% 300L. No added SO2.
