Jerome Bretaudeau is somewhat of a mad scientist in the unassuming Muscadet region of the Loire Valley. A quick tour of his facilities will reveal a dizzying array of stainless and concete tanks, amphora, large wooden foudre, and more. 

Despite (or perhaps due to) his constant experimentation, Jerome is producing some of the most precise, interesting, and finessed wines in Muscadet. This bottle is no exception. It's textured and aromatic, with enough acidity to make it food-friendly with anything from the raw bar.
