ATO WINE CLUB
Verve Wine NYC has teamed up with our friends at NA:EUN Hospitality (Atomix, Atoboy, & Naro) to put together exclusive retail offerings normally only available in the restaurants.
This box contains two (2) bottles:
Introducing the inaugural vintage of Likha Wine Co., a small vineyard atop Ballard Canyon in Santa Barbara. This micro-winery is the brainchild of Jhonel Faelnar, Beverage Director for NA:EUN Hospitality, and Chai Gray. This small, organically farmed, one-acre vineyard, aptly named Chai’s Vineyard, is planted to Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and a few vines of Viognier across from a producing olive orchard on the property.
Likha, in the Tagalog dialect of the Philippines, means ‘to create.’ The Cabernet Franc is de-stemmed and raised in neutral barrels, allowing us to get to know the fruit from this vineyard well. Harvested before the heat of 2022, the wine is zippy and fresh, with classic notes of bell peppers and black cherries. The Syrah is made in exactly the same way, but showcases lush, vibrant fruit, with softer tannins and a generous finish. Only 672 bottles of the Cabernet Franc and 156 bottles of the Syrah were made.
Only 24 sets are available.

2023 Eva Fricke, V.5, Trocken, Rheingau, Germany
“Earlier this year in January, I made the pilgrimage to the Rheingau to see Eva Fricke and her team in Eltville, a short hour’s drive away from Frankfurt airport. This sample, V.5, was the final “Verschnitt” or blend tasted. In fact, it was listed as “SUPERATOMIX VERSCHNITT” on my tasting sheet, seen after having tasted this blind. A curious blend of Rieslings from the town of Kiedrich, rich in orange peel and bergamot, and the single vineyard of Sonnenberg in Eltville, a sunny site at the top of the village, producing honeyed, sun-kissed fruit. While I also had one other favorite in the selection, it was apparent to me that Eva was most excited about this particular blend. 24-hours later, I had samples in my bag en route back to New York, where our sommeliers across Atomix, Atoboy, and Naro all tasted several cuvees. We eventually arrived at the foregone happy conclusion: V.5 was indeed super.
Exactly 720 bottles blended, shipped, and specially labeled for NA:EUN Hospitality. Raised solely in stainless steel, this 12% ABV Trocken Riesling is everything we love about the grape and why it works so well with our cuisine.” - Jhonel Faelnar, NA:EUN Hospitality Beverage Director
This box contains four (4) bottles:
2023 Eva Fricke, V.5, Trocken Riesling, Rheingau, Germany
2021 De Sterlich, Pecorino Colli Aprutini, Abruzzo, Italy
2022 Likha Wine Co., Chai’s Vineyard Cabernet Franc, Ballard Canyon, Santa Barbara County, California, United States
2022 Storm Wines, John Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills, Santa Barbara County, California, United States
This box includes the addition of the 2021 De Sterlich Pecorino, an excellent wine variety coming from Abruzzo in Italy, chosen by Ellia Park, Co-Founder of NA:EUN Hospitality and Atoboy’s first wine director. “The wine is light, citrus-forward, nutty, and a little honeyed. Easy to drink and perfect with the light mushroom salad I had at Rezdora!,” says Ellia.
This box also includes the 2022 Storm Wines Pinot Noir coming from the excellent John Sebastiano Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills. “These Pinot Noirs from Ernst Storm are highly expressive, balanced, and age worthy. Finally, the wines are being reintroduced back on the East Coast!” - Jhonel Faelnar

“Likha, in the Tagalog language of the Philippines, means ‘to create,’ and this is exactly what Chai and I wanted to do together with this project. To explore the possibilities of this beautiful site and add to the rich history of Ballard Canyon vine growing and winemaking. This Cabernet Franc is de-stemmed and raised in neutral barrels, allowing us to get to know the fruit from this vineyard well. Harvested before the heat of 2022, the wine is zippy, fresh, and perfect with your holiday meal. Only 672 bottles were produced.” - Jhonel Faelnar
