In the late 90s, Paolo De Marchi and his son Luca set out to resurrect their historic family cellars located in the old castle of Lessona in the northern region of alto-Piedmont.
While this can be considered a "baby" version of the estates renowned Lessona bottlings, this wine is anything but one-note. 85% Nebbiolo, 15% Vespolina, and 5% Croatina are blended and aged in oak sourced from Tuscany's Isole e Olena estate, bright cherry, herbs, and spices jump out of the glass.
