Founded by Gerhard Kracher and Aldo Sohm in 2008, Sohm & Kracher produces varietal wines from indigenous grapes in Austria’s Weinviertel region, seeking to highlight the diverse soil profile and distinct microclimate. ‘Lion’ is a varietal Gruner, showing exotic aromatics of green apple and pear, followed by palate full of white pepper tinged stone fruit. Pair with salads, fresh veggies, and/or fish tacos.
