Before making wine, Giuseppe Maria Sesti studied music, art, and eventually began a profession in astronomy. His interest in the cosmos influenced his winemaking when he restored an ancient Tuscan vineyard, as he was deeply invested in biodynamic agriculture and harvesting by the cycles of the moon. Today his daughter Elisa is at the helm of the family business, continuing her father's legacy of making wine influenced by the environment.
