'Haiku' was first produced in 2009 when Castello di Ama acquired the vineyards of Montebuoni. This wine was named after the haiku poem, which may seem subtle at first but can impress with its audacity! A beautiful balance of sangiovese, cabernet franc, and merlot. Harmonious layers of tobacco, dark cherry, and earth on the palate are complimented by a bright acidity. A great wine to compliment a hearty lasagna bolognese!
