Domaine Julien is headed by fifth-generation winemaker Etienne Julien, who farms the family’s 10.5 hectares of vines with organic principles. Plots stretch from Echezeaux to Aloxe-Corton and produce low yields of concentrated, top-quality fruit. Fruit for this Cote de Nuits-Villages is hand-harvested, sorted twice, and destemmed, followed by fermentation with native yeasts and aging for two years in tank and French oak (25% new).
