Fruit for this delicious 1er Cru Chardonnay comes from a 0.7-hectare plot in Saint-Aubin that generally gives way to only one barrel of wine. Fleshy flavors of orchard fruit, pithy citrus, pear skin, and saline lead to a chalky and thirst-quenching finish. We’d lay this bottle down and revisit in 5-10 years.
