Mario Fontana represents the sixth generation of Fontana family winemakers in the hills of Barolo, founding Cascina Fontana in 1995. The estate comprises four inherited hectares of vines, situated in Castiglione Falletto. The 2015 Nebbiolo is lifted and delicate, with notes of tart red berries, cherry, & rose petals. Concentrated yet gentle fruit flavors, coupled with light notes of sweet oak spice, give the wine a lingering finish.
