Cardedu’s vineyards are located in Ogliastra, the most mountanious region on the island of Sardegna. Characterized by turquoise waters and jagged cliff sides, the region is known for its native varieties: Vermentino, Monica, and Cannonau. The 2016 ‘Praja’ is varietal Monica, dry farmed and fermented with native yeast. Bright and crunchy, full of earth-spice, herbs, and tart red fruit flavors; a perfect aperitif.
