Alex Foillard was basically born with top-notch winemaking talent in his veins. As the son of legendary ‘Gang of Four’ winemaker Jean Foillard, Alex was exposed to sustainable farming and low-intervention winemaking from a very young age. After studying oenology in Montpellier and Beaune, Alex worked various internships across France, Australia, and Japan, ultimately deciding to return to Beaujolais in 2015. He purchased his own vineyards back in 2015, at just 24 years old. His wines (including this Beaujolais Villages) are produced from organic fruit, natural yeasts, and whole cluster fermentations.
