Founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, Domaine G. Roumier holds the standard for sensational Burgundy. Now headed by Georges’ grandson Christophe, the winery uses mostly destemmed fruit and ferments/ages it in oak. Roumier’s Chambolle-Musigny is a benchmark bottle for the region, marked by textured and thought-provoking flavors of sour cherries, wet earth, porcini mushrooms, and smoke.
