Violeta Gutierrez de la Vega and Alberto Redado created Curii in 2010, seeking to highlight the immense potential of Spain’s Alicante region. The couple works three hectares of head-pruned vines, highlighting native varieties and farming organically. Trepadell is an indigenous 80/20 blend, fermented and aged on the lees in old American oak. Beeswaxy and savory, noted with citrus and saline. Only 316 bottles produced!
