‘Genuine Risk’ is a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend aged for 12 months in French oak (15% new). Bright acidity and juicy fruit-forwardness lead to a full-bodied yet balanced final wine. Black Sheep Finds was founded by Amy Christine MW and Peter Hunken (formerly of Stolpman Vineyards, Holus Bolus, and Piedrasassi). The winery purchases fruit from organically and/or biodynamically farmed vineyards and wines are bottled unfined.
